Terms & Conditions
All prices are indicated in Euro (EUR, €) excluding the Swiss Value Added Tax (VAT) of 2.5%. For shipping within Switzerland the VAT of 2.5% will be added. Prices are subject to change at times due to fluctuations in exchange rates, shipping costs and printing price increases and reductions. However, we make great efforts to keep these changes to a minimum.
We accept payments via either bank transfer or by using a credit cart via PayPal. We chose PayPal as our external payment service provider in order to offer the highest possible security to you when paying by credit card. Your credit card data will not be stored at our website vintage eagle.com, but you will be directed to PayPal’s website when completing your payment. Payments via bank transfer have to be received within 10 days after order submittal. If you choose this option, please make sure that any bank transaction fees are paid by you. Otherwise, we won’t receive the full amount due and cannot ship the ordered items. In the event of any item, which you have ordered and paid for, becoming out of stock, we grant full refund in cash via PayPal or bank transfer.
Since we are based in Switzerland, the Value Added Tax (VAT) of 2.5% will only be applied for shipments within Switzerland. All prices are indicated in Euro (EUR, €) excluding the VAT.
You may have to pay custom duties on import. These import duties vary from country to country and are not included in the indicated shipping costs.
All orders are binding. You confirm your order by completing the checkout in our online store at vintage eagle.com. After order submittal you will receive an e-mail from us that summarizes your order. If you do not receive this e-mail within one day after order submittal, please contact us. You can check the status of your order at any time by logging in to our website and clicking on ‘My account’ in the menu at the top of the page. You will receive another e-mail as soon as your items have been shipped to you.
Stock items are normally dispatched within a few days of receipt of the order via the Swiss or German postal service. All items shipped to customers outside Switzerland are sent by airmail. Items shipped within Switzerland will be sent by surface mail. Depending on where the items have to be shipped, you will receive your order within 2 weeks after dispatch. However, the exact duration can be longer due to possible delays at the customs and local delivery services. We therefore ask you to allow up to 28 calendar days for delivery. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and dimension of the shipment and your location.
Books and decals are typically shipped without registered mail unless you specifically ask us to do so. The buyer will have to cover the additional fees for registered airmail. Collectibles are typically shipped with registered airmail due to the higher value. We will indicate the sales price on the custom’s form and add an invoice to the parcel.
Registered mail is insured up to an amount of xx Euro (EUR, €). If the sales price is higher than this amount, we can offer additional insurance if specifically requested. The buyer will have to cover the additional fees for the additional insurance.
Whilst we do try to dispatch orders promptly, please allow 28 days before enquiring. If a shipment has not arrived for more than 28 days after dispatch, we will start an inquiry a the postal service provider.
DAMAGED OF FAULTY ITEMS
Whilst we do try to provide perfect products, problems may happened occasionally. If you receive incorrect, damaged or faulty goods, please contact us within 28 days of receipt of your items, explaining the problem, so that we can advise you on the best course of action. You may contact us via the contact form at vintage eagle.com/contact. We cannot refund postage costs if items are returned to us without our prior approval. We may advise you to return the goods to us using the most economic method. We will of course replace the goods if they were indeed incorrect, damaged or faulty. The cost of return postage for any damaged or faulty item will be refunded provided you have contacted us first and have followed our instructions for the return. If we ask you to return incorrect items, please ensure they are well packed, as damaged returns will not be accepted.
We will only send you a newsletter if you subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the corresponding link at the bottom of all our newsletters.
We are committed to protect your personal data and not to share it with a third party. All your personal data will be treated confidentially. Vintage Eagle stores only data used for processing orders. If you are using this website, the web servers are registering impersonal usage data. These log files inform about your IP-address, visited pages, used browser, dat, time and the requested files. In addition, we are using Google analytics in order to optimize our website for our customers.
Your personal data (e.g. login name, password, address, etc.) are encrypted with proven SSL technology. Your credit card data will not be stored at Vintage Eagle’s website, as all payments are either conducted via bank transfer or via secure external payment service provider PayPal.
